Health Agency Office Sterilized with Disinfectant

Jakarta Health Agency Office on Jalan Kesehatan, Gambir, Central Jakarta was disinfected from September 17-19, 2020.

Based on contact tracing result, we find out that on September 14-16 as many as 22 Health Agency employees were confirmed positive for COVID-19

Jakarta Health Agency Head, Widyastuti mentioned, disinfectant spraying was done because one of her employees was exposed to COVID-19. Her side immediately carried out contact tracing on those who were classified as close contacts within 14 days before the person concerned was confirmed positive.

"Based on contact tracing result, we find out that on September 14-16 as many as 22 Health Agency employees were confirmed positive for COVID-19," she stated.

She added, disinfectant spraying is carried out in accordance with Gubernatorial Regulation (Pergub) No. 88/2020 concerning Implementation of Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) in Handling COVID-19.

"It is done to break the chain of COVID-19 transmission and we instruct all employees to work from home. Hopefully in the future, employees can be more discipline in implementing health protocols at workplace," she asserted.

Jakarta Heath Agency also reminded people to be more active in improving their immunity by consuming healthy food and drinks. Especially in wearing mask correctly, washing hands with soap, and maintaining safe distance at least one meter when doing activities outside or interacting with other people.
